Many parents have a hard time encouraging their children to exercise more – especially during the cold season. With NERF, however, this can be done easily and even at home. Handball star Silvio Heinevetter provides inspiration with a surprising training video on Instagram.
Parents know the dilemma, especially on grey, wet and cold winter days: the kids prefer to hang out on the couch, in front of the computer, smartphone or TV. During the pandemic, screen time in families has also increased dramatically. Encouraging the kids to get more exercise is a challenge for many parents.

In any case, it is an uncomplicated skill training that quickly gets children – but also adults – moving and excited.

„As a professional athlete, I am an expert when it comes to fitness, because I train a lot. That’s why I think it’s incredibly important that fun is not neglected in the process. I definitely had fun during the NERF video shoot. And I worked up more than just a little sweat. It would have been great if the video had made parents want to try it out with their kids this winter,“ says Heinevetter about his experience with NERF.
